Ferring beach
A gem of the Sussex Coast
Not many people have heard of Ferring... which is why it's so special. With no major road access, it's remained the preserve of in-the-know locals.
The beach itself shingly with sandy patches. At low tide, the sea goes out for miles and you can enjoy a walk or run on the flat sand or go dipping in the rock pools.
Time a visit for a low-tide sunset to enjoy huge skies and beautiful reflections.
Due to the flat coastal path that runs along the front of the hut, Ferring is very popular with dog walkers and we welcome dogs in the hut.

You can walk for miles from the hut along traffic-free coastal paths or inland along the river
